The pattern is the same in both: the subject and the place first, then the cyberpunk ingredients (rain, neon colours, holograms, chrome), then one sentence about the camera and the finish. Swap the subject and keep the rest, and you get a consistent set. For a cyberpunk character, replace the first sentence with one you invent: “a courier with a shaved head and a glowing visor on a motorbike”, “a street vendor with a mechanical arm under a noodle stall awning”.

Cyberpunk portrait of yourself

This is the one people ask for most, and it works the same way as any photo edit in the bot: the photo and the instruction have to arrive in one message, the photo attached and the prompt as its caption. A photo sent on its own, or a prompt sent as a second message, will not be paired. You can attach up to 4 photos at once, which helps when one shot has the better expression and another the better light.

Three things keep the result looking like you. Use a sharp, evenly lit photo that shows your whole face. End the prompt with “keep the face from the attached photo recognisable”. And keep the implants small: thin lines along the temple and jaw survive the restyle, a half-chrome face replaces you with a stranger. Compare the two images above, the hair, stubble, eyes and smile all carry over from the street snapshot.

Cyberpunk wallpapers

A wallpaper is the other big use, and the ratio is what makes it one. The city above is shown square here, but the same prompt runs at 9:16 for a phone, 16:9 for a monitor, or 21:9 on Seedream for an ultrawide desktop. For a phone, add “dark empty sky in the upper third” so your clock and icons have somewhere to sit. For a desktop, keep the busiest part of the scene away from the centre, where your windows cover it. Tips for better cyberpunk AI art

• Name the colours. “Magenta and cyan” gives the classic look, “acid green and orange” a grittier one. Without colours you often get generic blue.
• Always add rain or wet streets. The reflections double the neon, and they are most of what makes a scene read as cyberpunk rather than just a city at night.
• Put the light on the subject. “Neon rim light on his face” separates a character from the background, where “neon lights” alone lights the background and leaves the face flat.
• Expect almost-letters on signs. Background signs often come out as lettering that only looks like a real script, as on the signs behind the portrait. If a sign must read a specific word, write the exact word in quotes, or switch to GPT-Image-2.

Animate your cyberpunk scene
